Revoke Token Authority
Remove your ability to add supply, freeze holders or change the token's details. Buyers can confirm each one on Solscan in seconds.
What this does: every new SPL token starts with three powers. Mint authority can add supply, freeze authority can lock a holder's balance, and update authority can change the name, symbol or image. Revoking sets the one you choose to nobody, and scanners show that straight away.

The order most launches revoke in
1. Freeze authority, before anything else
Live freeze authority lets the holder lock any wallet so it cannot sell, the mechanism behind most honeypots. It is the first thing scanners and experienced buyers check, and there is rarely a reason to keep it once the token is public.
2. Mint authority, once supply is final
Until it is revoked, new tokens can be created at any time. Revoke it when the full supply exists and is where it should be: in the pool, in vesting wallets or with the team. After that the supply number can only ever go down, through burns.
3. Update authority, when the branding is settled
This controls the name, symbol, logo and links in the token's metadata. Keep it while you are still fixing a logo or adding a website, then revoke it when you are happy, so nobody can rename the token later.
What it costs and what you sign
0.1 SOL for each authority you revoke. The tool reads the token first, so authorities that are already gone are marked done and not charged. Afterwards, Solscan shows the revoked mint and freeze authority as empty and the metadata as not mutable. The free freeze authority checker confirms it too.

Connect the authority wallet
Hit Connect Wallet at the top of the page. Phantom, Solflare and Backpack are supported, and your wallet shows every transaction before anything is signed. Use the wallet that holds the authority today, since nobody else can give it up.

Load the token
Choose it from your tokens or paste the mint address. Live authorities are flagged so you can see what is left to revoke.

Select mint, freeze, update or all three
Each one is 0.1 SOL, and whatever you select is revoked in the same transaction.

Confirm, then verify
There is no undo. After confirmation, Solscan and our free Rug Checker both show the authority as revoked, which is exactly what careful buyers check.
