What's included in the base fee?
The base fee covers your token's name, symbol, total supply, decimals, logo upload to decentralised storage, and on-chain Metaplex metadata deployment to Solana mainnet. This is everything you need for a fully functional SPL token - ready to list and trade.
What are the optional add-ons?
Five independent toggles at 0.1 SOL each: Creator & Social Info (creator name, website, Twitter / Telegram / website links), Revoke Freeze Authority, Revoke Mint Authority, Revoke Update Authority and Mint Your Logo as a 1/1 NFT. Tick only the ones you want - nothing is bundled.
Can I change my token after creation?
Token name, symbol, and supply are immutable on-chain once minted. If you have not revoked update authority, you can update metadata later. Revoking update authority permanently locks everything - double-check your details before revoking.
What are authority revocations and why would I want them?
Revoke freeze: prevents wallets from being frozen. Revoke mint: permanently caps the supply - no more tokens can be minted. Revoke update: locks metadata forever. Each is a separate +0.1 SOL toggle on the create-token form.
Are there any recurring or monthly fees?
None. SOLQuill is a pay-as-you-go platform. You pay the base fee once, plus whichever add-ons you enable, and that's the complete cost - no subscriptions, renewals, or platform charges.
What's the maximum I could pay?
With every add-on enabled (creator info + all three revokes): base + 0.5 SOL = 0.6 SOL. Mint network costs are included. Keep a small amount of SOL above your selected service total for the payment-transaction fee shown by your wallet.
What do most users actually pay?

Is there a refund if something goes wrong?
The service payment is sent before minting. If payment confirms but no token appears, keep the payment signature and contact support before paying again. An on-chain payment does not reverse automatically; support must check the payment and mint status to resolve the launch or review a refund. Network transaction fees may still apply. Contact support.
How do I pay?
Payment flows automatically through your connected Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack) when you confirm the transaction. No credit cards, accounts, or personal information required - just your wallet.
Do I need SOL in my wallet before I start?
Yes. You need enough SOL to cover the base fee, plus +0.1 SOL for each add-on you enable (up to 0.5 SOL extra). Mint network costs are included. Keep a small amount of SOL above your selected service total for the payment-transaction fee shown by your wallet. We recommend having at least 0.1 to 0.6 SOL in your wallet before starting. You can buy SOL on Coinbase, Binance, or directly in Phantom.
How much does a fee-on-transfer (tax) token cost?
A Token-2022 fee-on-transfer token starts at 0.5 SOL - higher than a standard SPL token because it uses the larger Token-2022 mint account and configures the transfer-fee extension. The same optional add-ons apply at 0.1 SOL each. Collecting your withheld fees later costs 0.1 SOL per collection through the Collect Transfer Fees tool.
