How wallet connection works

This app uses your wallet to sign transactions securely. We never have access to your private keys or funds. You remain in full control at all times.

Build trust

Revoke Token Authority

Permanently give up the control your buyers worry about: minting more supply, freezing wallets, and changing the token. Each revoke is a signed, on-chain trust signal anyone can verify.

SOL per authority
Forever
irreversible

What this does: a brand-new token leaves three powers active - mint authority (create more tokens), freeze authority (freeze holder wallets), and update authority (change the name, symbol or image). Revoking them removes those powers for good, which is exactly what serious buyers check for before they ape in.

This is irreversible. Once an authority is revoked you can never get it back. New to this? Read the mint authority guide first.

Connect your wallet to begin

Use the Connect Wallet button in the header. Connect the wallet you created the token with so we can show you what is still revocable.

The order most launches revoke in

1. Freeze authority, before anything else

Live freeze authority lets the holder lock any wallet so it cannot sell, the mechanism behind most honeypots. It is the first thing scanners and experienced buyers check, and there is rarely a reason to keep it once the token is public.

2. Mint authority, once supply is final

Until it is revoked, new tokens can be created at any time. Revoke it when the full supply exists and is where it should be: in the pool, in vesting wallets or with the team. After that the supply number can only ever go down, through burns.

3. Update authority, when the branding is settled

This controls the name, symbol, logo and links in the token's metadata. Keep it while you are still fixing a logo or adding a website; revoke it when you are happy, so nobody can rename the token later.

What it costs and what you sign

0.1 SOL for each authority you revoke. The tool reads the token first, so authorities that are already gone are marked done and not charged. Afterwards, Solscan shows the revoked mint and freeze authority as empty and the metadata as not mutable. The free freeze authority checker confirms it too.

Revoking authority: what people ask us

What does "revoke mint authority" mean?
It sets the token's mint authority to nobody, so no more tokens can ever be created. The supply that exists now is the maximum from then on.
Is revoking authority reversible?
No. There is no instruction to hand a revoked authority back, which is exactly why buyers trust it.
Do I need to revoke all three?
Freeze and mint are what buyers and scanners care about most. Update authority matters too, but it is reasonable to keep it for a short while to fix branding, as long as you revoke it once you are done.
Why is one authority not selectable?
The tool only revokes an authority held by the wallet you connected, or by our minting wallet on some older tokens created here. If another wallet holds it, only that wallet can revoke it.
Does revoking change anything for holders?
Their balances and trading are unaffected. It only removes the power to change the token in future.
